I love to cook, and I dislike dull knives. I used to like pull sharpener, but the knives don't stay sharp for long with them.

I went on to buy a very cheap 400 grit diamond stone for 3.87€ and a polishing leather and paste for 4.64€.
It took me a bit of getting used to, but I now have very sharp knives and they stay sharp. You don't need to add water, the diamon stone should stay dry.
What's a bit sad is that an expert like that guy really just needs to make one video, clearly explaining how to get a normal knife sharp. If he wants to make a living though, he'll have to constantly push new videos that aren't really needed, presenting products that we clearly could do without.
